Interview
This section is devoted to interviews of significant cultural and literary figures. The interviews are accompanied by an exegetical essay evaluating the body of work of the interview subject.

The main interview is complemented by another interview of current literary practitioners. We have featured publishers and writers discussing diverse matters, ranging from craft to literary politics.

Features
Features carries the theme of issue. In the past, we have written on writing, travel, history, and education. In the future, we are planning to cover technology, professional writing, and "the writer as activist".

Features is edited by Kristine D. Fonacier, media manager at a multinational website development company; she was also Managing Editor of the now-defunct Sky I-Site and a writer at Mega Magazine.

Workshop
Workshop deals with the tools of the writer's trade. The section features articles on technique in various writing genres and reflections on living the writer's life.

Workshop is edited by Ruel S. De Vera, a staffwriter of the Sunday Inquirer Magazine and teacher at the Ateneo de Manila University, where he moderates the school paper, The GUIDON. He has published several books, including a volume of poetry entitled The Most Careful of Stars. He is also our Poetry Editor.

Politics
This section strings history, culture, and sociological perspectives together with hard-core politics. The section has featured analyses on academic debates, opinion-writing in the Philippines, and historiography.

Politics is accompanied by a regular column, The Girondist, by the section editor, Manuel L. Quezon III, associate editor of the Philippines Free Press and editorial writer for the Today newspaper. Quezon has come out with a compilation of essays from his Today column, Then and Now.

Frame
Frame seeks to discover previously unseen photography, to encourage novel and experimental ways of seeing, and cultivate an audience for Filipino photography as fine art. This section is devoted exclusively to black and white photography, free from the usual context of illustrating someone else's idea.

Frame is edited by Lita Puyat, who worked as an assistant film director in the U.S. for six years before returning to her first love, photography. She has worked with the top commercial magazines and advertisers and has had two one-woman shows.

Poetry
This section presents new and recognized voices in Philippine poetry, both here and abroad. The section is illustrated with black and white photography curated by our Frame and Photography Editor, Lita Puyat.

Poetry is also edited by Ruel S. De Vera.

Palanca
The Palanca Awards Section is devoted to featuring winners of the country's most prestigious literary award. Past winners featured in this section include Isagani R. Cruz, Gregorio Brillantes, Mia Gonzalez, and our own Politics editor, Manuel L. Quezon III.

Fiction
This section publishes short fiction and excerpts of longer works, not necessarily from the Philippines.

Fiction is edited by our editor in chief, Clinton Palanca, author of a short story collection entitled Landscapes, and a novella, Identifications, which was anthologized in Catfish Arriving in Little Schools.

Essay
This section publishes more serious, introspective, non-fiction works than its counterpart, the Features section. Pieces range from travel diaries to lectures to personal discoveries.

Essay is also edited by Kristine D. Fonacier.

Reviews
This section is devoted to frank and honest evaluation of books, exhibits, concerts, and television shows.

Reviews is edited by Jesse Hernandez Liwag.

Backspace
This back-of-the-book section deals on the writer's ruminations on how he or she writes, and why. Our past Backspacers are Noelle de Jesus-Chua, Jose Y. Dalisay, Carmen Guerrero-Nakpil, Teodoro Locsin Jr., and Queena N. Lee-Chua.
